Deanna Simmons Mcclure

Deanna Simmons McClure, age 81, passed away on Saturday, January 13th, 2024.

Family Visitation is planned for Thursday, January 18th, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday, January 19th, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel, 200 E. 37th Street, Snyder, Texas 79549. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Hillside Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. McClure was born on December 31st, 1942 in Marshall, Texas to Arthur D. and Jessie (Williams) Simmons. She married Kenneth Wayne McClure on June 9th, 1961. He preceded her in death on April 21st, 2015. She was the activity director, at Snyder Oaks for 28 1/2 years. She loved watching her Grandchildren play games, crocheting, watching westerns and The Dallas Cowboys and drinking Dr Pepper.

She is survived by

4 Sons, Wayne McClure of Loraine, TX, Mark McClure and wife Traci of Snyder, TX, Eddie McClure and wife April of Orange Grove, TX and Scott McClure and wife Heather of Abilene, TX;

Daughter, Kristi Alexander and husband Chris of Brownwood, TX;

14 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great, Great-Grandchildren;

2 Sisters. Sharon Stolz and husband Ricky of Longview, TX and Debbie Kelley of Marshall, TX;

Brother, Dennis Chambers of Houston, TX;

and 2 Nieces, Annette Keene and husband Scott of Tampa, FL and Laurie O'Bryan of Indiana.

She was preceded in death by Parents, Arthur D. and Jessie May (Williams) Simmons; Husband, Kenneth Wayne McClure; Great-Granddaughter, Trinity Lynn McClure; 3 Brothers, Arthur D. Simmons, Jr.,. Ronnie Simmons and Joe Simmons; Sister, Sallie O'Bryan; and Daughter-in-law, Sammye McClure.
