Deana Cooper, 83 of Snyder, passed away on Sunday May 18th 2025.

Graveside service will be Friday, May 23rd 2025 at Hillside Memorial Gardens at 10am with Steve Highfield of Calvary Baptist officiating.

Deana was born February 2, 1942 in San Francisco, CA to Milton and Patsy Mapes. Deana grew up in Snyder where she graduated high school in 1960 and married Charles Cooper. They were married almost 65 years. She leaves a legacy of 5 kids, 12 grandkids and many great grandkids. Deana was the “best and funniest grandma ever.” Deana enjoyed cooking, traveling, embroidery, and crosswords. Most of all she enjoyed her grandkids. She loved her grandkids with all her heart, and her love will be carried with them forever.

She is survived by her husband Charles Cooper of Snyder, son Chuck & Mandy Cooper of Snyder, daughter Charman & David Gonzalez of Snyder, daughter Patricia & Paul Aguilar of Snyder, and son Jason Cooper of Midland. 10 Grandchildren, Katy Beachamp, Kim Warr, George Sinclair, Ryan Realsola, Aaron Realsola, Michael Realsola, Joey Rosas, Leslie Rosas, Brantly Cooper, Brayden Cooper, Mitchell Marckon, Eric Cooper & many great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Milton & Patsy Mapes, sister Catherine Bjorklund, daughter Cynthia Crawford, & grandson Roger Sinclair.
