David Porterfield

David Winford Porterfield Jr., 72, of Marble Falls passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 in Austin.

He was born on March 9, 1945 in Temple, Tx to Dave and Virginia (Rhoads) Porterfield. He graduated from Austin High School, attended Southwest Texas University, and later joined the Texas Army National Guard as a paratrooper. Mr. Porterfield was an avid golf fan and outdoorsman. He also loved to play pool, shuffle board, and work crossword puzzles.

David is survived by his daughter, Lindsay Ward and her Husband Justin of Snyder, and their two children Elena and Halle; sister Suzy Farrell and her husband Don of Pflugerville, and their three children Pat, Cliff, and Jonathan.

A memorial service followed by a reception will be held at Hearthstone Heath Center, 401 Oakwood Blvd, Round Rock, TX on Monday, October 30th at 4:30PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.. online condolences can be made at millerfamilyfuneralhome.com
