David Eugene Payne

Buddy Payne, age 74, passed away in San Angelo on Tuesday, July 20th, 2021. Family Visitation is planned for Friday, July 23rd, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 24th, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel 200 E. 37th Street Snyder, Texas 79549 with Mr. Bryan Jackson officiating, assisted by Mr. Emory Kea and Mr. Rusty Kea. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Dunn Cemetery, Dunn, Texas. Mr. Payne was born on September 21st, 1946 in Colorado City, Texas to Mike and Madge (Clanton) Payne. He married Kathrine Louise Jones on October 26, 1968 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a Big supporter of Hermleigh FFA, Basketball, Football and Softball. Loved watching his kids and Grandkids playing games, Fishing, Hunting, Gardening, Dancing, Riding Horses and watching The Dallas Cowboys. He is survived by Wife, Kathy Payne of Hermleigh, TX; 3 Daughters, Shannon Hollingsworth and husband Dakon of Weatherford, TX, Michelle Payne of Hermleigh, TX and Connie Payne of Hermleigh, TX; 4 Grandsons, David Gonzales of Abilene, TX, Thomas Gonzales of Snyder, TX, Dylan Randolph of Abilene, TX and Logan Corbett of New Boston, TX; 3 Granddaughters, Brittany Darnell and husband Brady of Osceola, IN, Tina Fisk of Weatherford, TX and Makia Gonzales of Abilene, TX; 2 Great-Granddaughters, Delaney Gonzales of Snyder, TX and Emery Gonzales of Snyder, TX; 2 Sisters, Virginia Priddy and husband Clinton of Huckabee, TX and Betty Miller of Durant, OK. He was preceded in death by Parents, Mike and Madge Payne and 2 Brothers, Wayne L. Payne and William "Bill" G. Payne.
