Darold B. Baldwin

December 2, 1935 — May 7, 2026

Darold Byron Baldwin, 90, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 7,

2026, at Park Central Ware Building in Amarillo.

He was born on December 2, 1935, in Delwin, Texas, to Howard and Blanche

Baldwin.

A celebration of Darold's life will be held on Wednesday, May 27, at 2:00 p.m. at

Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel.

Darold will be remembered for his many years of faithful service to the Lord and

the countless lives he touched through ministry. He was ordained on November 19,

1961, and dedicated much of his life to serving others as a senior pastor and

associate pastor in churches across Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado. He also

faithfully served as Director of Missions for the Rolling Plains Baptist association including churches, Mitchell, Nolan, and Scurry Counties.

Those who knew Darold knew his faith was not limited to the pulpit. It was

reflected in the way he treated people-with kindness, compassion, humility, and a

servant heart. His dedication to God, his family, and his community left a lasting

impact on everyone blessed to know him.

Darold is survived by his daughter, Toye Adams and husband Curtis of

Albuquerque, New Mexico; his son, David Baldwin and wife Michele of Queen

Creek, Arizona; his grandchildren, Brice Robertson and wife Alexis, Adrianna

Robertson and fiancé Jared Garcia, and Bayleigh Navarro and husband Gabriel; and

his beloved great-granddaughter, Delilah Robertson. He is also survived by a sister,

Ola Crum and husband Richard, brothers Robert Baldwin and wife Janie, and

Godfrey Baldwin and wife Delores, brothers-in-law Wesley Earp and Stanley

Seagler, sister-in-law Bonnie Baldwin, step-daughter Laurie Reed and husband Jeff,

and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Baldwin; his wife, Lynn Baldwin and

her son Charles Bethel. Darold was also preceded in death by his parents, Howard

and Blanche Baldwin; his sisters, Mary Anna and Wynelle; his brother, Eugene, his

sister-in-law Shirley Baldwin, and brothers-in-law Ben Dean, Les Morriss, and

Homer West.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the organization or

ministry of your choice.

Darold's life was a reflection of faith, love, and service. Though he will be deeply

missed, his legacy will continue through the lives he touched, the family he loved,

and the faith he lived every day.
