Dannelle Rae Copeland, 37, of Post, Texas, returned to her heavenly home on the morning of April 30, 2025 in Lubbock, Texas. Arriving as the most precious early Christmas gift, she was born December 18, 1987 to Dan and Brenda Copeland of Gail, Texas.
Dannelle was so much to so many, but the role that she was most proud of was being a mother to her two sons and daughter, Shane, Caleb and Emily.
She was a Borden County native and proud Coyote, where she graduated from Borden County ISD in 2006. She never missed a chance to proudly tell others where she was from. If they didn’t know where Gail, Texas was when they met her, they knew where it was before they walked away.
She was an adventurer, always excited to try new things and loving travel, she got the opportunity to walk many beaches, ride many ATV trails and see exotic places far from her tiny hometown. She enjoyed cooking and baking and the tastes of other cultures.
She was a nurturer by nature. Thinking most often of others before herself, she was always thoughtful and concerned for others, routinely calling to check on loved ones. She was known for always showing up with a gift for friends and family, no occasion was needed, but no occasion ever forgotten.
She was courageous. Facing tremendous health challenges throughout her adult life, she lived boldly and without fear. She did not allow her condition to interfere with her dreams or impede her chance to live her life to the fullest.
She was funny. Whether you thought so or not and she would tell you that.
She was a wonderful sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. She was a child of God. A believer who is no doubt in the place that our Lord and Savior has prepared for her.
Dannelle is survived by her children, her mother, Brenda Copeland-King and bonus dad Mike of Aspermont, her sisters Rika Eilenberger and husband Jay of Gail, Becky Justice-Ford and husband Leslie of Gail, nephews Ben Justice, Blane Justice and wife Macie, Colby, Ashleigh and Mason Ford, Kason and Bryson Law, Alyssa Eilenberger, great-niece Taylor Justice and host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Dan Copeland, her paternal grandparents, Bertie and Leslie Copeland, maternal grandparents Etta Dirickson and Scoot Gilchrist.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 2nd, 2025 from 6-8pm at Miller Family Funeral Home of Snyder. Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 at 11AM The Gail Cemetery. Brother Randy Hardman will officiate.
