Mr. Daniel Wells, 37 of Snyder, died Tuesday, October 20, 2015 in Fayetteville, NC. He was born November 7, 1977 in Casper, Wy to Donald and Darla (Welch) Wells Sr. Services are pending at Miller Family Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 1:30pm at Fort Bragg.

Wells graduated from Snyder High School in 1997. He enlisted in the Army in July 1997. He was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, Special Troops Battalion, 1st Sustainment Command (Theater), Fort Bragg, in June 2015. Wells deployed to Iraq in 2007 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

His awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal with one oak leaf cluster, the Army Commendation Medal with six oak leaf clusters, the Army Achievement Medal with three oak leaf clusters, the Meritorious Unit Citation, the Army Good Conduct Medal sixth award, the National Defense Service Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terror Service Medal, the Korea Defense Service Medal, the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, the Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon with numeral 3, the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon seventh award, the Parachutists Badge, the Air Assault Badge, the Driver and Mechanic Badge with operator and the Basic Marksman Qualification Badge.

He is survived by his parents Donald and Darla Wells Sr. of Snyder, TX
