Christi Lynn Campbell (Lemons)

Christi Lynn Campbell, 64 of Snyder entered into the presence of our Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 17th, 2025, after battling a lengthy illness.

Born February 13th, 1961 to Orion Curtis and Marjorie Ann Lemons, in Plainview, Texas. Christi enjoyed the adventures of childhood alongside her siblings PJ, Steve and Mitzi.

Later in life, she and her sister Mitzi, owned and operated the Burger Wagon in Plainview for a number of years.

She was a lifetime resident of Plainview, until she moved to Snyder to be in close care of her only son, Kristopher Campbell. Christi cherished the special mother and son relationship, she maintained with Kris throughout her life. She was a proud grandmother and played a major role in her grandchildren’s lives. No visit ever passed that she didn’t take interest and ask about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and what was happening in their lives. She loved Little House on the Prairie and catalog shopping, and if her eye spied a garage sale she was there! She loved the smell of a Marlboro Red and fresh opened Mountain Dew. She was a lover of animals and collector of Boston Terrier memorabilia. She loved lemons for obvious reasons and had collectables that proved it. She was hardheaded but loving and she was very loved.

Christi is survived by her only son Kristopher Campbell and wife Star of Gail, Texas. Her grandchildren Jaylee Campbell of Plainview, Mason Ford of Corona, New Mexico, Ashleigh and Colby Ford of Gail. Her great-grandchildren, Amber Campbell, Levi and Dezmond Salazar. Her siblings Keith (PJ) Lemons and wife Jana of Claude, Mitzi Tims of Lamesa and Steve Lemons of Claude and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Preceded in death by, her parents and one of her nephews Geoffrey Lemons.

Celebration of life services are pending with Miller Family Funeral Home for a later date.
