Carolyn Marie Elam, age 69, passed away on Saturday, April 10th, 2021. Family Visitation is planned for Tuesday, April 13th, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 14th, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Ira Church of God with Rocky Alexander officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Ira Cemetery. Mrs. Elam was born on August 3rd, 1951 in Andrews, Texas to Kenneth and Dorthy (Musik) Lynn. She married Joe Elam on October 16, 1972 in Snyder, Texas. He preceded her in death. She is survived by Son, Jody Elam and Tracie of Snyder, TX; Daughter, Karen Gruben of Ira, TX; 4 Sisters, Tina Grisham of Odessa, TX, Carol Packer of Baines, TX, Loretta Walden of Grandbury, TX and Geretta Hartzell of Brownwood, TX; 3 Grandsons, Chase Carroll of Dimmit, TX, Hagen Gruben of Ira, TX and Andrew Leatherwood of Snyder, TX; 6 Granddaughters, Amanda Helton and husband Matthew of Snyder, TX, Tanya Heverman and husband Stetson of Snyder, TX, Kalie Elam of Lubbock, TX, Alexis Elam of Snyder, TX, Haylee Gruben of Ira, TX and Brinley Leatherwood of Snyder, TX; 7 Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
