Carl Wayne Clark

d. May 18, 2025

Carl Wayne Clark of Colorado City passed away on May 18th, 2025.

Carl was born at Root Memorial Hospital to Charles and Dorothy Clark on March 14th, 1967.

At the age of 11, Carl’s first job was stomping cotton for a local cotton farmer with his younger brother.

Carl held many titles in his work life, some of which included roofing, carpentry, auto mechanic, HVAC,

apartment maintenance, oilfield worker and he worked with family at Neff Greenhouses. There really

wasn’t anything Carl could not do; he was a very talented and smart man if he did not know how he

would figure it out.

Carl’s favorite past time was spoiling all his nieces and nephews and his neighborhood children. He loved

making people happy. Carl would always help anyone that needed help, no questions asked, this is just

one of many things that made him special. Carl was always checking up on his sisters making sure they

were okay. He might not say I Love you out loud all the time, but his actions spoke volumes. His love for

family and friends ran deep. We will all miss his laughter and that mischievous smile.

He is survived by

his son Jason and wife Kirstyn Clark and grandson Jaxon of Apison, Tennessee,

granddaughter of Aubrey Clark of Corpus Christi, Texas. Brothers

Milton Harp of Derby, Kansas

Charles Clark and wife Valerie of Goldsmith Texas. Sisters
