Braid Marie Bond, 10, and Jake Wayne Bond,9, left this Earth on Sunday, June 15th. Instead of waking up and going to church that morning, they entered through the gates of Heaven together, hand in hand, the most Divine Gift of all. Two peas in a pod, it gives us great comfort and peace knowing they will forever be with each other and are experiencing and exploring all the riches Heaven has to offer together, every day from now on in the innocence that children have. We know Braid is loving all the sparkly things she is seeing and Jake is so excited exploring and learning all the new things Heaven has to offer them. They are only seeing good and wonderful things and none of the evil that this world has in it. Oh what a gift! Even though we only had them in our lives for a short while, they blessed our lives everyday in so many ways and can never be replaced in our hearts. They truly had hearts of gold.
They are survived by their loving “Mama”, Betsy of Snyder; Grandparents Gaylon (Palpaw) and Starla (Nona) Bond, Dale (Pawpaw) and Judy (Nana) Critz, and Sherry (Gran) Critz all of Sweetwater. Great Grandmother Venne “M” Lawson of Sweetwater. Aunts Stacie Bond of Sweetwater; Carolyn Critz and Mirna Algarin of Bucerias, Mexico; Jessica “Jessa” and husband Ryan Colvin of Snyder; and their Uncle Cody and wife Diana Critz and cousins Kylie Reyes and Brynlee Critz of Sweetwater. Other family members include Randall Bond of Sweetwater; Leslie and Barbara Bond of Sweetwater and children Guy Bond of Sweetwater and Jessica and husband Aaron Cockrill of Yukon, Oklahoma; Rojeana Ivey of Sweetwater; Kelley Hanks and wife Nell Hanks of Kerrville; Cathy Reynolds and husband Scott and children Amy SoRelle and Travis SoRelle of Vacaville, CA; Van and Ana Williams of Carrollton, Mike and Crystal Lawson and children Maria, Carter and Rhett of Frisco, Mickey and Julie Lawson and children Leanna and Shelby; special cousin Brandon Butler of Sweetwater; Jennifer Butler of Sweetwater, Maranda and husband Terry Holden of Krum and Justin and Gracie Smith of Forney. They are also survived by several distant aunts, uncles and cousins.
We know they have special great grandparents in Heaven that welcomed them with open arms and are showering them with love, Billy and Nelda Bond and Quinnon and Glynna Critz and Jerry Lawson. Also, their Great Aunt, Beije Cessna is getting her hugs in. And their sweet little dog, Kinley was waiting at the gate for them.
