**Obituary for Billy Leatherwood**

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Billy Leatherwood, who left us on August 27, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on February 5, 1967, Billy was a cherished son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of many with his kindness, humor, and unwavering spirit.

To honor his life, we will hold a memorial service that celebrates the joy he brought into our lives. Service for Billy Leatherwood will be held on Saturday September 27th,2025 at 11:00 am, at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Ron Davis Officiating. We would love to invite everyone whose lives were touched by Billy to join us as we remember and celebrate this incredible person.

Billy was the kind of person who could light up a room with his infectious laughter. He had a knack for bringing people together, always ready with a story or a listening ear. His warmth and compassion will be deeply missed by all who knew him.


Billy is survived by his 4 brothers Benny May of Snyder, Texas, Lynn Leatherwood and wife Judy of Snyder, Texas, Scott Leatherwood and wife Christie of Snyder, Texas, Stevie Leatherwood and wife Neltie of Snyder, Texas. One sister Delta Halloway and husband Homer of Lubbock, Texas.

Billy is preceded in death by His mother Betty Koontz Leatherwood and his father, Woodard Leatherwood


We will carry his memory in our hearts and find comfort in each other as we continue our journey without him. Rest in peace, dear Billy. You will be missed more than words can express.
