Billy Richard Daves, age 86, passed away in Snyder on Tuesday, November 13th, 2018.

Family Visitation is planned for Thursday, November 15th, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday, November 16th, 2018 at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church, Ira, TX with Rev./Mayor Tony Wofford officiating assisted by Rev. Ben Moore. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at 4:00 pm, Friday at Winn Hill Cemetery, Jacksboro, TX

Mr. Daves was born on September 28th, 1932 in Graham, Texas to Luther and Minnie (Blackwood) Daves. He married Annie Lee (Easter) on May 14, 1954 in Jacksboro, TX. She Preceded him in death on November 28, 2011.

He was a member of First Baptist Church, Ira, TX, a 32nd Degree Mason and enjoyed eating lunch daily at the Scurry County Senior Center. He enjoyed feeding his cows, good horses, fishing, training and the company of his dogs and playing with his great-grandchildren.

11 Great-Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by Parents, Wife, Brother,L.A. Daves and Sister, Lou Brown.
