Billy Joe Brown

Billy Joe Brown, Sr., age 82, passed away in Snyder on Thursday, October 20th, 2022.

A Memorial service will be on Monday, October 24th, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel, 200 E. 37th Street Snyder, Texas 79549 with Pastor Chip Hubbard officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Brown was born on September 29th, 1940 in Chelsea, Oklahoma to Freeman Oliver and Achra Dora (Mixson) Brown. He married Rae Laurana Wilson on December 7th, 1960 in Madras, Oregon. She preceded him in death on March 2nd, 2015. He was a member of Chelsea Baptist Church in Chelsea, Oklahoma. He was a hard worker, who loved his family and mowing.

He is survived by

Son, Billy Joe Brown, Jr. of Snyder, TX;

Grandson, Marcus Oliver Brown and wife Stephanie of Lubbock, TX;

and Great-Grandson, Noah.

He was preceded in death by Parents, Freeman Oliver and Achra Dora (Mixson) Brown; Wife, Rae Laurana (Wilson) Brown; Daughter, Shelli Kay Riggs and Sister, Soleta Joyce Queck
