Billie Joyce Norred

Billie Norred , age 85, passed away in Lubbock, Texas on Monday, November 9th, 2015.

Family Visitation is planned for Thursday, November 12th, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday, November 13th, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Dunn officiating. There will be no burial following the service as Ms. Norred wished to be cremated.

Ms. Norred was born on Tuesday, March 18th, 1930 in Snyder, Texas to Jack Burney and Cora Sterling. She married Bob Norred on December 23, 2010 in Snyder. She was a seamstress, and also a volunteer of 20 years at the Scurry County Senior Center. She enjoyed Football, Baseball, and especially enjoyed taking care of her "little" people at The Senior Center.

She is survived by She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Debbie & Tim Phillips of Arlington, Texas; 1 sister Norma Cumbie of Snyder, Texas; Grandchildren Brian Phillips and Ashley Phillips both of Arlington, Texas, 4 Nieces Sandy & Greg Crawford of Snyder, Texas; Patsy Ruth Bryant & Bear of Lovington, New Mexico; Carol Jan Fuller & Steve of Lubbock, Texas; Laree & Steve Cole of Midland, Texas; 3 nephews Bobby Jack & Gwen Cumbie of Gorman, Texas ;Jay Cumbie & Jeanne of Flower Mound, Texas; and Michael Barton of Midland, Texas; She is also survived by many great Nieces & Nephews.,
