Bill Stansell

Mr. Bill Stansell age 84, of Fluvanna, passed away on Saturday, September 19th, 2015. There will be a family visitation Monday, September 21, 2015 from 6 -7 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 2PM in the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel with his nephew, Brother Joe Stansell of San Antonio officiating. Burial will follow in the Fluvanna Cemetery under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home. Mr. Stansell was born on Tuesday, January 20, 1931 to Barney And Mary (Leatherwood) Stansell in Wheeler County, Texas. He Married Wanda Mosely on Friday, January 27, 1950 in Snyder, Texas. He worked as a Dairyman for 53 years. Bill is survived by his wife of 65 years Wanda Stansell of Fluvanna; two sons, Johnny Stansell and Wife Dale of Abilene, Texas, and Steve Stansell and wife Nancy of Snyder, Texas; Three daughters, June Mebane and Husband Tim of Snyder, Texas, Gwen Merritt and Husband James of Colorado City, Texas, and Teresa Ferguson and husband Tom of Kasilof, Alaska; one sister, Velda Padilla of Wichita Falls, Texas and Sister-in-law Vera Stansell of Snyder, Texas. He is also survived by 10 Grand-Children and 26 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Father Barney Stansell, his Mother Mary Stansell, and four brother brothers James Stansell, Raymond D. Stansell, Glen Ray Stansell, and Luke Stansell.
