Avanel Sullenger

Mrs. Avanel (Abb) Haney Sullenger, long time resident of Snyder went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the age of 86. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October14, 2015 at 2:00pm at Ave D Baptist Church with Pastor Cliff Phillps officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home. Mama had the bluest eyes, full of fire and life. She loved her husband, her family, her church and her Lord. She is survived by 3 children, Susan Rios of San Saba, William Sullenger of Grand Prairie, and Sid Sullenger of Mertzon, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Abb is also survived by one brother, Gerald Haney of Lubbock, and two sisters, Celia Vidulich of Snyder, and Norma Laywell of Snyder. Her husband Bill Sullenger preceded her in death in 2003. Her brother Harold preceded her in 2005. Family visitation will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 6pm to 7pm at Miller Family Funeral Home.
