Anselmo Hernandez

Anselmo "Chemo" Reyes Hernandez , age 87, passed away in Snyder on Sunday, November 11th, 2018.

Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, November 13th, 2018 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, November 14th, 2018 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 1311 Avenue K Snyder, Texas 79549 with Father Raj Arokiasamy officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Snyder Cemetery.

Mr. Hernandez was born on April 10th, 1931 in Marion, Texas to Anselmo and Paz (Reyes) Hernandez. He married Raquel Molina on August 19, 1955 in Seguin, Texas. She preceded him in death on December 21, 2009.

Chemo was well known as the Manager for the Snyder Red Leg's, a baseball team that played in a league with other towns on weekends. He retired in 2009 from Pool Well Service to take care of his wife. Chemo lived a long full life raising his 10 children, plus grandchildren. He loved watching all his grand-kids play all types of sports.
