Amy Floyd-Summerville

Amy left her worldly body on January 13th, 2026, peacefully in Snyder, Texas to be reunited with her loved ones in Heaven. Amy Michelle Floyd-Summerville was born August 7th, 1971, in Big Spring, Texas to parents John and Darla Floyd.

She wore many hats throughout her years from working in the medical industry to the catering business but her favorite hat to wear of all was being a Mom and Mimi to her kids and grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Edgar and Velma Floyd, her maternal grandparents Grady and Marie Moore, and Tyler's father Robert (Bob) Summerville.

She is survived by her parents John and Darla Floyd of Snyder, brother Josh Floyd and wife Amanda of San Angelo, adopted sister Shelly Maupin Yates and husband Jay of Shallowater Texas, son Tyler Floyd-Summerville and wife Grace of Snyder, adopted daughter Heather Suiter and husband Ryan of San Angelo, grandsons Jackson, Hunter, Kole, Andrue, and Halen, many extended family members, and so many special friends.
