Albert Earl Hataway

Albert Earl Hataway, age 84, passed away in Snyder surrounded by family, on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024.

Family Visitation is planned for Saturday, September 14th, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Sunday, September 15th, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Colonial Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Tommy Culwell officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Snyder Cemetery.

Mr. Hataway was born on May 26th, 1940 in Snyder, Texas to Irvin N. and Agnes Othell (Morris) Hataway. He married Ellen Rasbeary on December 24th, 1958, in Fluvanna, Texas. He was a member of Colonial Hill Baptist Church and a retired Texas Department of Public Safety officer for over 27 years. He also retired as a Justice of the Peace of Fisher County. He loved his family, fishing, hunting and golfing.

He is survived by

Wife, Ellen Hataway of Snyder, TX;

3 Daughters, Donna Patrick and husband Duane of Alvarado, TX, Tina Gordon and husband Randy of Snyder, TX and Melody Appleton and husband Sam of Snyder, TX;

numerous Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren;

Sister, Delphene Weston of Belton, TX;

Brother, Delbert Hataway of Snyder, TX;

2 Ex- DPS Partners, Allan Arwine and wife Genia of Roby, TX and Don Underwood of Brownwood, TX.

He was preceded in death by Parents, Irvin N. and Agnes Othell (Morris) Hataway and Brother, Irvin Hataway, and two grandsons Rody Appleton and Brian Gordon.
