Abelia Garcia Espinosa

Abelia Espinosa, 78 of Snyder, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

Rosary will be held Monday, March 17, 2025, from 7pm-8pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Alpine, Tx. Burial will follow in the Holy Angels Cemetery.

Abelia was born February 25, 1947, in McCamey, Tx, to Savino and Aurora (White) Garcia. After graduating from McCamey High School, she attended Sul Ross State University, where she met Manuel Jr. After moving to Snyder and starting a family, Abelia was employed with Cogdell Memorial Hospital for 10 years, County Clerk’s office at the Scurry County Courthouse for 10 years and the Adult Probation Office for 10 years, where she retired. As busy as she was, she always found time for the things that mattered; all the kids sporting events and activities, holiday cooking and baking, and cooking for the neighborhood children. Abelia was a very caring, loving and beautiful woman.

Daughter Diana Espinosa of Big Spring

Son Daniel Espinosa and wife Amanda of Midland

Two grandchildren, Skylar and Jakob Espinosa of Midland

Brother Eloy Garcia

Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins

She is preceded by her parents, sister Gloria Ochoa and sister Bernie Garcia
