Velma LaVerne Moody, age 80, passed away in Colorado City on Saturday, February 29th, 2020.

Family Visitation is planned for Wednesday, March 4th, 2020 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Westbrook, TX. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 4th, 2020 at 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Westbrook, Texas with Reverend Rhonda Greenwood officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Westbrook Cemetery.

Mrs. Moody was born on September 7th, 1939 in Mitchell County, Texas to Ted and Ruby (Allison) Jackson.

She is survived by
2 Sons, Bobby Moody and wife Dana and Alan Moody and wife Leslie, all of Westbrook, TX;
3 Granddaughters, Kristin Browne and husband Paul and Kaci Rainbolt and husband Kyle, all of Colorado City, TX and Sykeshia Thurman of Hopewell, VA;
1 Grandson, Drake Thurman and wife Sara of Snyder, TX;
Sister, Berniece Woods, Colorado City, TX;
Brother, Robert Jackson and wife Julia of Midland, TX;
9 Great-Grandkids;
and 4 Nephews;
Great Friends, Sara Petty, Jennifer Wright and Elizabeth Leech, all of Westbrook, TX

She was preceded in death by Parents, Ted and Ruby (Allison) Jackson.
