Mrs. McGrew was born on December 15th, 1940 in Sweetwater, Texas to Lane Henry and Ima Irene (Rogers) Hardy. She was a 1959 graduate of Snyder High School and a member of First Baptist Church in Snyder. She never worked until she was nearly 50 years old. She oversaw what was going on with her children and was involved in her children's upbringing. She traveled the world, her life took her overseas to raise a family in Bahrain, Dubai, Teheran, Iran and Stavanger, Norway. She has been around the world two and a half times. Even though she traveled her love was for her Snyder community and the Snyder Tigers. She also enjoyed gardening, bowling, cooking, baking and sewing. She was a Bus Driver for the Snyder I.S.D. for 20+ years and a Bus Driver for 4 years in Spring, TX. She was a small town girl, who lived amongst the world and then returned back to her roots.
