Obituary for Roy Wayne Doss

Roy Doss, age 65, passed away in Abilene on Monday, October 19th, 2020.

Funeral service planned for a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Doss was born on April 13th, 1955 in San Angelo, TX and raise there. He went into the Army and served his country. He was an EMT and volunteer fireman while working for the Goodyear proving grounds for 10 years. He graduated from TSTC with an associates degree in Industrial Safety, in 1988. From 1988-1989, he was a EMT and Fireman for Waco, TX A truck driver for many years for many different companies. Roy retired as transportation officer for TDCJ.

His loved his family and friends, with a passion. He was a gun enthusiast and loved hunting and camping, traveling and exploring, any old western movies, Clint Eastwood and John Wayne, seen the all and loved them and western memorabilia. He also loved war movies, He would help anyone. He saved many lives, rendered aid to anyone who was in need. He loved cars and working on them. He loved his country.

He could do anything he set his mind on and he wore many hats. He had a lot of accomplishments and did a lot of things, in his life. He really was an amazing man and dad. He tried to teach his daughters everything, he knew. He had many friends and made friends everywhere he went. You couldn't help, but love him.

He is survived by
Daughter, Brandy Adelle Molina and her children, Bailee, Breezy, Chris, Mathew, Tia, Izaia , Patrik and Little Miya.
Daughter, Amber Delaine Doss and her children, Trystan and Damian.
Brothers and Sisters, Charles Cartwright, Peggy Cartwright, Linda Williams, Reba and Ray Sherman.
Along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
and companion, Patsy Fields.

He was preceded in death by Mother, Opal Adell Doss, Brother, Lesile Cartwright and 2 Sisters, Mary Bartlett and Phyllis Larson.
