Obituary for Rebecca Leigh Scott
Rebecca Leigh Scott passed away on February 25th, 2023 in Lockney, Texas. She was 41 years old. She was born in Avon Park, Florida on August 4, 1981 to Reverend Jim and Sally Heurich. Rebecca grew up in San Antonio, TX where she graduated Trinity Christian Academy in 1999. Afterwards, she interned at Windsor Park A/G. Then went on to attend ICIBC in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Celebration of Life service will be 10 am Saturday, March 4th, 2023 at Spirit Ranch Park in Lubbock, TX. Under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.
Rebecca was known for her loving, joyous, sweet spirit. Everyone always felt loved and cared for in her presence. She loved serving others, putting smiles on faces, gaming, writing, singing, and enjoying movies. She also loved karaoke. She was a life to the fullest, larger than life, full of life person sharing joy as if she had an endless supply. Rebecca was a kind, compassionate, easy going, open minded, thoroughly genuine, and extremely supportive person. Her beauty was unmistakable inside and out.
Rebecca is survived by her husband Adam Scott, their children Ruben, Ronnie, Cameron, Jackson, and Johnny, and her sisters Priscilla Anne Rosales and Sallie Pearl Packard.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Ruben Villarreal from Port Lavaca and beloved little brother John Maurice Heurich.
