Ouida Magene Elder, age 70, passed away on Thursday, May 26th, 2022.

Family Visitation is planned for Tuesday, May 31st, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Colorado City Chapel, 423 E. 17th Street, Colorado City, Texas 79512. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, June 1st, 2022 at 10:00 am at Colorado City Cemetery, Colorado City, Texas with Pastor Billy Johnson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.

Mrs. Elder was born on June 30th, 1951 in Colorado City, Texas to Leland Barron and Vera Jeannie (Dulin) Craghead. She married Hayman Ray Elder on May 30th, 1969 in Colorado City, Texas. He preceded her in death on January 28, 2016.

She is survived by

3 Grandsons, Steve Garrett of Abilene, TX, Nick Garrett and wife Jennifer of Abilene, TX and Christopher Clark of Big Spring, TX;
2 Granddaughters, Autumn Kelly and fiance' Christian Castro of Sweetwater, TX and Brandy Clark and fiance' Tracy Cook of Colorado City, TX;
3 Great-Granddaughters, Presley Paige Garcia of Colorado City, TX, Journey Lynn Rasberry of Colorado City, TX and Riley Madison Garrett of Abilene, TX; 4 Great-Grandsons, Kai Garrett Rasberry of Colorado City, TX, Dayton Brooks of Abilene, TX, Gunner Ryan Garrett of Abilene, TX and Drake Castro of Sweetwater;

She was preceded in death by Parents, Leland Barron and Vera Jeannie (Dulin) Craghead; Husband, Hayman Ray Elder; 2 Brothers, Duane and Waylon Craghead; and Sister, Laverne Sprow.
