Norma Dell Laywell, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, August 25th, 2021.
No Family Visitation planned. Graveside services will be on Thursday, September 2nd, 2021 at 10:00 am at Hillside Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dalton Mathis officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.
Mrs. Laywell was born on April 17th, 1932 in Snyder, Texas to William and Louise (Muriel) Haney. She married Ralph Laywell on August 15, 1959, in Weatherford, TX. He Preceded her in death on July 15, 2007. She was a member of Ave, D Baptist Church and the Director of Scurry County Senior Center. She Loved God, her Country, her family and singing in the Sunshine choir
She is survived by
Daughter, Debbie Mills of San Antonio, TX;
2 Grandsons, Michael Mills of Corpus Christi, TX and David Mills of San Antonio, TX;
Brother, Gerald Haney of Lubbock, TX;
Sister-in-law, Larue Haney of Lubbock, TX;
Grand Daughter-in-law, Aurora;
Great-Grandchildren, Benjamin, Sarah, Rebekah and Garret;
Great-Great-Granddaughter, Annabelle Lee.
She was preceded in death by Father, William Arnold Haney; Mother, Louise Muriel Haney, Husband, Ralph Laywell; Brother, Harold Haney and 2 Sisters, Celia Vidulich and Avanel Sullenger.
