Danny and I will miss Mike so much. He was always such a fun guy to be around. He loved Carolyn and his kids and grandkids so much. We’ll miss seeing him at the dances and hearing all the good fishing stories . I remember visiting with his Mother and seeing her little poodle. We’ve jjust shared lots of good times.. Love y’all and God Bless.

I enjoyed working with Mike for 30+ years, but more enjoyable was playing music at dances around Snyder and watching Mike and Carolyn dance by the band stand and Mike hollering "sing waltz of the angels or Lilly Dale" They were his favorites. Mike Loved fishing and was very good at it. I fished Port Aransas with him and Clarence and I was a newbe to fishing the Bay but Mike would line me out even totally re-rigging my line and I would catch fish with them. I saw Mike and Susan at the doctors office just a couple days before he left us and he seemed to be better. I'm so glad for that visit not knowing it would be the last time.
