Martin Cervantes Diaz, age 87, passed away in Snyder on Monday, September 9th, 2019.

A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, September 11th, 2019 at 6:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, September 12th, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1311 Avenue K, Snyder, Texas 79549 with Deacon John Bane officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Snyder Cemetery.

Mr. Diaz was born on March 29th, 1932 in Cotulla, Texas to Eugene and Maria (Cervantes) Diaz. He married Francisca Hermosillo on January 25th, 1962 in Loraine, TX. He was a farmer and rancher and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He Loved his family, western cowboys, horses and his John Deere Tractor.

5 Daughters, Sally Sanchez of Snyder, TX, Norma DeLaO of Sweetwater, TX, Lisa Rodriguez of Snyder, TX, Lucy Garza of Sweetwater, TX and Mary Olvera and husband Edrick of Garland, TX;
Favorite Grandson, Eric Arellano and wife Marina of Snyder, TX;
21 Grandchildren and numerous Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great- Grandchildren;
Only Brother, Abraham Diaz and wife Margie of Corpus Christi, TX; and
4 Sisters, Manuela Martinez of Beeville, TX, Francisca Munoz and husband Ernesto of San Antonio, TX, Chepa Martinez of Beeville, TX and Julia Diaz of Beeville, TX.

He was preceded in death by Parents, Eugene and Maria (Cervantes) Diaz; 3 Sisters, Minga Diaz, Eva Diaz and Paula Aguirre and 2 Great-Grandsons, Isaiah Arellano and Raymond Garza.
