Obituary for Carol Young

Carol Young loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend to everyone, passed away on January 20, 2021.

Graveside Services will be on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Spur Memorial Cemetery in Spur, Texas with Kyle Young officiating. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.

She was born on January 10, 1940 to Matt and Elsie Moore in Rotan, Texas. They later moved to Aspermont, Texas, where she lived and graduated from high school. She married Ted Young on October 26, 1959, in Hamlin, Texas.

She enjoyed traveling, watching Texas Tech sports, being with her grandchildren as their number one fan, in all their activities, shopping trips with sister cousins, and spending time with family. She spent her life taking care of others. Making sure your tea glass was full and you had everything you needed. She was a member of American Business Woman Association and worked at Lone Star Gas for many years before retirement.

Great grandchildren; Colter and Gunner Maldonado, Aubree, Deakin and Mac Quine, Blaize and Kai Sosa, Kaylyn Perales and baby Mendoza.
Sister, Sue Cooper and husband Gary of Palo Pinto TX
Numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by Parents Matt & Elsie (Hammer) Moore, infant Son, Richard Young; Sisters, Margie Hubert and Vera Clements; Brothers, Wayne Moore and Charlie Moore. Father and Mother-in-law Garner and Tressie Young.

The family would like to thank Snyder Hospice, Darlene Young and Sally Sanchez for taking such good care of our loved one.
