Obituary for Lenia Lou Lay
Lenia Lou Lay, age 86, passed away on Sunday, April 10th, 2022.
Family Visitation is planned for Wednesday, April 13th, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 14th, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ryan Ford officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Snyder Cemetery.
Mrs. Lay was born on January 2nd, 1936 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Henry and Ida (Ray) Hudson. She married William "Don" Donald Lay on January 15, 1975, in Lubbock, Texas. He preceded her in death on December 20, 2017. She loved her family, oil painting, gardening and sewing. She was retired from Sears and Roebuck in Lubbock and retired from teaching from Lubbock State School.
She is survived by
Son, Henry Wesley Styles and wife Rose of Oklahoma City, OK;
Daughter, Cindy Lou Mason of Snyder, TX;
Grandson, Robert W. Mason of Snyder, TX;
2 Granddaughters, Lenia A. Haumpy and husband Pau of Lawton, OK and Cheryl Long and husband Richard of Lubbock, TX;
8 Great-Grandchildren;
9 Great-Great-Grandchildren;
Sister, Henrietta Laura Grey of Klamath Falls, OR.
She was preceded in death by Parents, Henry and Ida Mae Hudson; First Husband, Clovis W. Styles; Second Husband, William "Don" Donald Lay; 2 Brothers, Buddy and Jim Ray Hudson and Sister, LuLu Mae Sills.
