John C. Houston, Jr., age 80, passed away in Colorado City on Monday, October 21st, 2019.
No Formal Visitation planned. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2019 at 10:00 am at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel 200 E. 37th Street Snyder, Texas 79549 with Blain Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 pm under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at City of Levelland Cemetery in Levelland, TX.
Mr. Houston was born on April 28th, 1939 in Mitchell County, Texas to John and Ruth (Grimes) Houston. He married Nita Culbert on November 20, 1958 in Brownfield, TX. She preceded him in death on October 23, 2001. He enjoyed sitting, while drinking his coffee, playing golf and baseball and John Wayne and Western Movies.

Son, Johnny Houston and wife Shelly of Richland, WA;
3 Brothers, Charles Houston and wife Sharon of Mansfield, TX, Ricky Houston and wife Susie of Winters, TX and Mike Houston and wife Bedina of Houston, TX;
Sister-in-law, Donna Houston of Odessa, TX;
2 Grandsons, Trevor Houston and wife Kaitlyn of Columbia, MO and Aeric Batchelor and Alexis McNiel of Snyder, TX;
2 Granddaughters, Kailee Houston of Richland, WA and Cassie Batchelor of Abilene, TX;
2 Great-Grandchildren, Elijah and Elizabeth Houston of Columbia, MO.
