Obituary for Jerry Brent House
Jerry Brent House, age 77, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021.
Family visitation is planned for Monday, October 18, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church Snyder with Pastor Ben Reid officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Hillside Memorial Gardens.
Mr. House was born on April 3, 1944 in Snyder, Texas to Raymond and Erma Pauline (Gatlin) House. He married Rita Rodman on November 24, 1971 in Lovington, NM. He was a cotton farmer and rancher most of his life, but serving the Lord and his family were his most proud accomplishments. He was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church Snyder. He was a faithful husband, father and grandfather who led and loved his family well.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Rita House of Snyder; six children, Brent House of Austin, Shea House and wife, Sande, of Post, Perry Lee of Snyder, Justin House and wife, Gäelle, of Spicewood, Raymond House and wife, Karie, of Snyder, and Jeremy House and wife, April, of Decatur; twelve grandchildren, Kristina Bradford of San Antonio, Christopher House of Alexandria, LA, Sam Lee of Hawley, Susan Caswell of Snyder, Brogan House of Austin, Krystin Wells of Lubbock, Blaine House of Snyder, Brandt House of Snyder, Julia Ruiz of Spicewood, Inez Ruiz of Spicewood, Luke House of Decatur, and Cooper House of Decatur; four great-grandchildren; brother, Larry House, of Snyder, and sister-in-law, Pat House, of Snyder.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Erma Pauline (Gatlin) House, and brother, Milton House.
