Mr. Courtney was born on January 18th, 1933 in Northwoods, Vermont to James and Mable (Scofield) Courtney.
He is survived by
4 Sons, Danny Courtney of Snyder, TX, Kevin Courtney of Snyder, TX, Tim Courtney and wife Kristi of Kaufman, TX and James Courtney, Jr. of Kyle, TX;
3 Daughters, Lisa Drenckhahn and husband John of Danbury, CT, Kim Lepape of Kansas and Theresa Yates and husband Wesley of Snyder, TX;
16 Grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by Father, James Henry Courtney; Mother Mable Courtney; Wife, Maxine Courtney; Sister, Hazel Chase and Daughter, Sandra Lee.
