Isidro (Sid) Becerra Rodriguez, age 73, passed away in Snyder on Monday, April 10th, 2023.

Family Visitation is planned for Thursday, April 13th, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday, April 14th, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel, 200 E. 37th Street Snyder, Texas 79549 with Pastor Paz Hernandez officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Snyder Cemetery.

Mr. Rodriguez was born on May 15th, 1949 in Seguin, Texas to Gumecindo Rodriguez and Concepcion (Becerra) Chavez. He married Martha Hermosillo on November 30th, 1971 in Snyder, Texas. He worked as a rig operator for over 50 years. Isidro was a strong hard-working, funny, loving and caring of his friends and family. Isidro had a strong work ethic that influenced others to do the same. He loved to tell stories and had the best sense of humor. He always told others about his own life struggles to inspire them to do better, in life. Anyone who had the opportunity to know Sid can say he was a greatly respected man and was the last of his breed.

3 Sons, Sid Erick Rodriguez and wife Jan of Snyder, TX, Richie Rodriguez of Odessa, TX and Tommy Rodriguez of Odessa, TX;
3 Daughters, Naomi Rodriguez of Odessa, TX, Jessica Rodriguez of Odessa, TX and Abigail Escobedo and husband Daniel of Snyder, TX;
5 Brothers, Luis Rodriguez and wife Oralia of Snyder, TX, Raul Rodriguez and Rosa of Snyder, TX, Domingo Rodriguez of Denver, CO, Paul Rodriguez and wife Janie of Abilene, TX and Tony Rodriguez and wife Sharon of Saltio, MS;
Sister, Amanda Hernandez and husband Lupe of Snyder, TX;
Brother-in-law, Larry Nakumura;
24 Grandchildren and 27 Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by Parents, Gumecindo Rodriguez and Concepcion Becerra Chavez; Sister, Belia Nakumura; Sister-in-law, Emma Rodriguez and Grandson, Tommy Rodriguez, Jr.
