Obituary for Gus Dwayne Featherston

Gus Dwayne Featherston, age 90, passed away in Snyder on Saturday, May 21st, 2022.

Family Visitation is planned for Saturday, May 28th, 2022 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 28th, 2022 at 10:00 am at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rick Owens officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Snyder Cemetery.

Mr. Featherston was born on July 9th, 1931 in Whon, Texas, in Coleman County to William and Bernice (Blackwell) Featherston. He married Elizabeth Perry in 1956 in New Mexico, she preceded him in death on October 8th, 1999. He worked for Chevron for 31+ years. He Loved his Children, Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. He was no stranger to work.

He is survived by
2 Daughters, Michelle Williams and husband Terry and Debbie Williams and husband Ricky, all of Snyder, TX;
1 Son, Jeff Featherston and Stacie of San Angelo, TX;
3 Granddaughters, Misty Hinton and husband Brad of Snyder, TX, Brooke Henry and husband Johnathon of Lubbock, TX and Allison Daniels and husband Caleb of San Angelo, TX;
3 Grandsons, Clay Williams and wife Casey of Boerne, TX, Dustyn Williams and wife Amanda of Big Spring, TX and Conner Featherston of San Angelo, TX;
11 Great-Grandchildren;
and Special Friend, Charlotte Smith of Snyder, TX.

He was preceded in death by Parents, William and Bernice (Blackwell) Featherston; Wife, Elizabeth (Perry) Featherston; Daughter, Melissa Williams; 3 Sisters, Billie Faye Cooley, Nancy Freeman and Ann Hough.
