Frankie Estep

74 years old of Wolfforth passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

Born October 11, 1947 in Snyder Texas, Frankie graduated from Snyder High School in 1966 and pursued a career in cosmetology. She married Bill Estep on January 24, 1970 in Snyder and later became the owner/operator of Hair Haven Beauty Salon. Bill preceded her in death on June 11, 1999 and at that time she moved to Slaton to live with her sister and brother-in-law. In 2005 she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease but continue to live a full and active life until her health began to decline in 2018, at which time she moved to the Villa Care ALF where she resided until her death.

She was preceded in death by her much beloved Daddy, WT Steel of Dermott in 2004, and her son William Lee Steel in March 2022.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Bill Brannon of Slaton, her niece Lela Reagor of Lubbock, nephew Tom Brannon of Dike Texas, several great nieces and nephews, and her special great niece Stephanie Thompson with husband Michael Thompson and their daughters Krista and Macayla, who will miss their Aunt Frankie dearly.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the Villa Care ALF of Wolfforth for their love and excellent care of Frankie during her four years there. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 3 at 2 PM at Hillside Memorial Gardens in Snyder Texas. Services provided by Miller Family Funeral Home of Snyder Texas.
