Ellen was born on June 16th, 1964 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Dee Lane and Shirley Ellen (Rodgers) Cooper.

She is survived by
Husband, Michael Van Slyke of Snyder, TX;
2 Daughters, Angie Gordy and husband Charles of Weatherford, TX and Melody Vaughn and husband James of Snyder, TX;
2 Grandsons, Beau Vaughn and Jax Vaughn of Snyder, TX;
2 Granddaughters, Bailey Swain and Jaime Swain of Weatherford, TX;
Great-Grandson, Weston Swain of Weatherford, TX;
Brother, D.L. Cooper and wife Shelly of Haskell, TX;
2 Sisters, Becky Burns and husband Don of Aledo, TX and Vickie Cooper of Ft. Worth, TX;
2 Nephews, Zachary Burns and Dustin Burns of Aledo, TX;
3 Nieces, Cassidy Elkin and husband Eric of Haskell, TX, Megan Gordy and Morgan Gordy of Ft. Worth, TX;

She was preceded in death by Parents, Dee Lane and Shirley Ellen (Rodgers) Cooper.
