Obituary for Henry Dever

E.H. "Henry" Dever III, peacefully entered heaven on April 22, 2020 at his home in Haslet, TX, after a long and courageous 14 month battle with cancer. Henry enjoyed a lifelong career in the Oil and Gas Industry. He Retired in June 2018 as an Operations and Facilities Superintendent from XTO Energy.

Graveside services will be on Sunday, April 26th, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.

Henry had a passion for spending time with his family, working out, eating healthy and making a positive impact in the lives of others. His commitment and passion for Christ gives us peace and comfort knowing he is in heaven watching over us every single day. He was very proud of his 3 boys and cherished special time and trips with his wife.

He is survived by Wife, Martha McAnelly Dever of Haslet, TX;
3 Sons, Tyson Dever of Kingsland, TX, Justin Dever of Midland, TX and Dustin Dever of Springtown, TX;
2 Grandchildren, Austin Scott Dan Dever and Harper Ray Dever;
1 Brother and sister-in-law, Jerry Dever and wife Geanene of Snyder, TX;
3) Sisters, Sharon Wemken of Snyder, TX, Kathy Kelly of Old Washington, TX and Terri Dever Willams and husband Rick of Snyder, TX;
Brother in law Herman McAnelly and wife Danna of Millersview, TX
Sister-in-law Karen Kittles and husband Charles of Abilene, TX;
and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by Parents, E.H. "Dan" Dever, Jr. and Freida Dever; Grandparents, Ermer Henry and Winnie Dever, Henry and Ora Whitehurst.; Father-in-law, Don McAnelly and Mother-in-law, Wanda McAnelly.
