Earline Nealy (Chitsey) Stroud, age 83, passed away in Snyder on Wednesday, November 20th, 2019.
Graveside Services will be on Thursday, November 21st, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Hermleigh Cemetery with Rev. Elizabeth Billingsley officiating. A Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 10:00 am at Hermleigh United Methodist Church, 481 Willis Ave., Hermleigh, TX 79526, with Rev. Elizabeth Billingsley officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stroud was born on January 21st, 1936 in Mitchell County, Texas to Earl and Vina Mae (Pettitt) Chitsey. She married Bobbie Joe Stroud on June 10th, 1955. He preceded her in death in 2003. She was a member of the Hermleigh United Methodist Church since 1953. She Loved her Grandkids and Great-Grandkids, her Fluvanna Route as a Mail Carrier, Riding Horses, Tending to her Rose Bushes and Driving the School Bus.
She is survived by
4 Sons, Bobbie Don Stroud and wife Sue of Snyder, TX, Billy Mac Stroud and wife Carrie of Thornton, TX, Ricky Joe Stroud and wife Jenny of Lubbock, TX and Brian Garmer of Snyder, TX;
2 Daughters, Lajeania Maxfield and husband Jimmie Gray of Littlefield, TX and Cindy Taylor of San Angelo, TX;
and numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Parents, Earl and Vina Mae (Pettitt) Chitsey; and Husband Bobbie Joe Stroud.
