Mr. Morris was born on December 23rd, 1949 in Snyder, Texas to Thomas and Susie (Robertson) Morris. He married Retha Criswell on March 5th, 1971, in Snyder, Texas. She preceded him in death on November 12th, 2016. He Loved his Kids, Grandkids and Great-Grandkids, fishing with his wife, raising pit bull dogs, going to garage sales (everything was new to him).

He worked in the oilfield, all his life. He was a jokester. He loved to jue people on all kinds of deals. When you worked with him on the rig, you knew it was all work and no play. His pass time now, was writing in journals of everyone's birthday and phone numbers. He always called you on your birthday, even though it may be midnight, to be able to tell you first. He loved to talk, lots of stories- some true and some may be tall tales. One thing for sure, you always learned something from Doug.
