Obituary for Celia Doris Vidulich

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and child of God, Celia Doris Vidulich, aged 94 of Snyder, TX, passed away on January 9th, 2021 after succumbing to natural causes. She lived a long, beautiful life.

Celia was born on March 4th, 1926 to Mr. and Mrs. William and Louise Haney in Snyder, TX. After graduating from Snyder High School in 1944, she wed Sterling Abbey Taylor II. They had four sons: Charles Harold, Arnold David, Paul Blaine, and Carroll Mark.

Celia raised her sons and eventually moved to San Diego, CA where she began a career in electronics, manufacturing circuit boards for US Defense projects and gaining top secret military clearance. Eventually, Celia settled back home in Snyder, TX where she lived out her retirement years doting on her grandchildren, volunteering at the senior center, and staying active in her church.

Celia was predeceased by her sons Charles, David, and Paul, grandchildren Drew Taylor and Michele Taylor, sister Avanel Sullinger, brother Harold Haney, and husband John Vidulich.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Mark and Angela Taylor; sister Norma Laywell and brother Gerald Haney; grandchildren Holly Taylor, Wade Taylor, Jason Taylor, Preston Taylor, Brian Taylor, Deran Taylor, and Megan Matthews; great-grandchildren Jaden Taylor, Brian Allen Taylor, Morgan Taylor, Devon Taylor, and Chadwick Matthews. She is deeply loved and missed by her family and friends.

Viewing will take place at Miller Family Funeral Home in Snyder, TX on Wednesday January 13th, 2021 from 6:00-8:00PM. Graveside Services will take places at the Hillside Cemetery in Snyder on Thursday January 14th, 2021 at 2:00PM.
