Obituary for Brent Sterling Burleson

Family visitation is planned for Friday, April 29th, 2022 from 6-7PM at Miller Family Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 30th 2022 at 1 PM at Colonial Hill Baptist Church with Dr.
Tommy Culwell officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.

Brent was born on April 10th, 1988 in Oakland, California to Kyle and Gail Burleson. Brent moved to
Snyder, Tx when his father, Kyle got out of the military. Brent has been a Snyder native all of his life.
He was a member of Colonial Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time on his
grandparent’s farm. More than anything he enjoyed his children. They brought pure joy to his life.
Brent had a heart of gold, and he never knew a stranger. He was known for his quick wit, his laugh, and being
a jack of all trades. Brent had many talents to include, electrician work, farming, and a peace officer.
He could fix anything, and he was very mechanically inclined. He could also two step the night away and
had a love for music. Brent loved animals and he wanted to bring every stray dog home with him,
but he especially loved his dog, Sebastian.

Son, Brody Burleson and his mother Nancy Burleson of Snyder, Tx
Father, Kyle Burleson and wife Debbie of Snyder, Tx
Mother, Gail Burleson of Snyder, Tx
One Sister, Brooke DeLoera and husband Aaron of Snyder, Tx
2 Bonus Sister’s, Cristal Rivera and husband Mario of Lubbock, Tx and Vanessa Martinez of Lubbock, Tx
1 Bonus Brother, Jeremy Moody of Snyder, Tx;
Grandmother’s, Gayle Burleson and Sara Elam of Snyder, Tx
2 Aunt’s, Angie Burleson and son Braden Hart and Kathy Herrley and husband Kirk, all of Snyder, Tx
1 Uncle, Tommy Elam of Snyder, Tx
1 Niece, Blakely DeLoera
and numerous Cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Grandfather’s Carl Burleson and Tom Elam, and his beloved Aunt
Joyce (Aunt JJ) Smith.
