Alejandro "Alex" Tovar, 99 of Snyder, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020.

A visitation is planned for Monday, November 2, 2020 at 6:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at 10:00 am at Snyder Cemetery with Father Raj Arokiasamy officiating.

Mr. Tovar was born June 28, 1921 in Eagle Lake, TX to Eugene and Virginia (Garcia) Tovar. He married Diamantina "Diana" Rios on April 2, 1948 in Cameron, TX. She preceded him in death on August 14, 2019. He started working in the fields at a very young age and continued with gardening for the most of his life.

5 Sons, Gomezindo "Gus" Tovar and wife Rosalinda of Snyder, TX, Jack Tovar of Amarillo, TX, Richard Tovar of Snyder, TX, George Tovar of San Angelo, TX and Robert Tovar of Snyder, TX;
Daughter, Sally Rios of Snyder, TX;
Brother, Paul Tovar, of Snyder, TX;
2 Sisters, Aurora Tavarez and husband Roy of Snyder, TX and Dora Alvarez and husband Felix of Houston, TX
Numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, David Tovar; daughter, Sylvia Martinez; brother, Manual Tovar and sister, Elvira Rodriguez.
