Obituary for Ada Johnston
Ada Johnston, 74, of Snyder, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022.
Ada Belle Johnston was born March 28th 1947 in Artesia New Mexico to Bert V. McCabe and Kathleen( Garrett) McCabe. She married Charles Johnston on September 22nd 1970 in Hobbs New Mexico. He preceded her in death on August of 4th 2011.
She work at G and G grocery in Snyder for a number of years. as well as Walls Industry in Snyder. She loved to sew, working puzzles and playing games on her phone. She loved going fishing and did it quite often when she could. She loved to spend time with her family and spoil her grandkids and great grandkids. She was known for her orneriness and playing jokes on her family.
She is survived by a son John Britton and wife Julia of San Angelo Tx. A daughter Lisa Ponce and husband Orlando of Snyder Tx. A daughter Rebecca Zamarripa and husband Mark of Snyder Tx.
2 sisters Fern and Husband Herald Wilson of Artesia NM, and Lavada (Boots) and Husband Bill Woods of Sioux Falls SD. One brother Bill McCabe of Tow Tx
7 Grandchildren
Richard Britton of Argyle Texas, Jason Britton of Eastland Texas, Logan Britton of Hobbs New Mexico, Justin Johnston of Snyder Texas, Nathan Ponce of Snyder Texas, Raymond and Timothy Zamarripa of Snyder Texas.
And 3 bonus Grand children Nan'kta, Alicyn, and Anthony.

Kimberly, Lance, Skylar, Kiera, Rylei, Kenlei,
and 6 bonus great grandchildren Analeya, Juan, Unique, Karena, Aubrey and Kelton.
She is proceed in death by her parents, A sister Kathleen( Kathy) Wood. 4 Brothers Bert v. McCabe Jr., Kenneth (Hoot) McCabe, James (Jim) McCabe and Michael McCabe.
Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.
