Obituary for Dean Eaton

Dean Edward Eaton, age 56, was welcomed into Heaven suddenly on Friday, March 1st, 2019.
Dean was born to Arthur and Blythe (Averil) Eaton on January 28th, 1963 in Grant Michigan. He moved to Texas when he turned 18 to work in the oilfield. In 1988, he married the love of his life, Kathy Garrett. They had recently celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary last month. Dean was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Throughout his life, Dean had a strong work ethic and taught his kids about the importance of working hard. His entire career was spent in the oilfields of Texas where he was known as one of the strongest men around. Dean was a handyman and always had his next project in line around the house. He spent much of his time helping his family however they needed it. There was nothing he had rather do than spend time with his kids and Kathy. Dean had a huge heart, was larger than life, and loved his family more than anything else.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his sister, Linda Welch, and his brother, Doug Eaton.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; daughter, Kassie Bolander and husband, Ken Bolander, of Christoval; three sons, Danny Ray Elder of Hermleigh, Nick Eaton and wife Danni of Hermleigh, and Jeremy Eaton of Hermleigh; two brothers, Mike Eaton and wife Val of Grand Rapids, MI, Bruce Eaton of Grand Rapids, MI; two sisters, Pam Hardin and husband Randy of White Sulphur Springs, MT, and Annette Allen of Hesperia, MI; six grandchildren, Korbin, Reese, Camden and Stormy Elder of Hermleigh, Kristen and Khloe Bolander of Christoval; sister-in-law Becky Craig, and husband Darrell of Snyder; brother-in-law Bernard Garrett and wife Melinda of Bryan; and many nieces and nephews.
